Hair Accessories: Hand made by me.

Since my sister is so darn special to me, I spent several hours creating some sassy headbands perfect for her sassy self.

Stuff I used:

A bundle of headbands from the $ store.

Iron-on appliques

Peacock feathers

ribbon

Hot glue

decorative cord

elastic

These hippie style flowers are iron-ons that I fell in love with at the fabric store. I cut them to my liking, and attached them to a headband. After, I added a little burlap ribbon to the backside in order to seal the deal.

Now without further ado, a short fashion show:

For this one I used the same technique that I did for the ruffle shirt I made. I picked up the Peacock feathers at the craft store, and again attached it all to a $ store band.

This one was a decorative cord I found on clearance at the fabric store. I just sewed a couple inches of black elastic to both ends connecting the cord to make a band.

Same process as mentioned above, just added elastic to a decorative ribbon.

What a beauty!! And I'm not referring to the headbands. :)
